Ōtaki Today is a community newspaper for Ōtaki published by ID Media Ltd in the middle of every month. A total of 6000 copies are distributed to households, cafes and other outlets from Te Horo through Ōtaki to Manakau and Waikawa Beach. News stands are at: RiverStone 
Café (highway shops), Te Horo Café, Café SixtySix (Ōtaki township), Gorge Café (Riverbank Road), Ōtaki Beach Dairy, Brown Acres Market (Manakau) and The Sponge Kitchen (Levin).
