A petition launched by the Finish Our Roads (FOR) group has gained several hundred signatures, says FOR chair Marilyn Stevens.

The group was formed after the Transport Agency announced that a Peka Peka interchange on the expressway would not go ahead. FOR is working with Kāpiti Coast District Council to get the business case presented to the NZTA board reviewed and ultimately get south-facing ramps at Peka Peka built.

“As a measure of community concern we have a petition available for signing that has been signed by several hundred people so far,” Marilyn says.

The petition is online at for.org.nz and hard copies can be signed at Harrison’s Garden Centre in Peka Peka, Te Horo Café and RiverStone Café.
